Ever had this fancy before you get married: feeling happy walking down the aisle with the one you love of a different religion? It happens all the time: Interfaith relationship! Sure, love is blind. You just can't avoid when it happens in your life. You might have a strong relationship with your beloved one now, and both you and the person won't convert. How about that?
You're free to decide. You might end the relationship or you might go on to marry your partner with all the consequences. Persuading a person to convert to your religion, maybe that's not the best thing you would do to save your relationship. But if the difference is not a big deal to you, just make sure that:
1. The person previously had no religious affiliation to a music group which would like to outdo Gangnam Style
2. If he or she would convert, please don't say it's betrayal. And don't ever say later on when you are in conflict, "interfaith married is complicated, dude ..."
3. What you have been following since birth and now that you want to convert someone to a new religion for marriage should not make you feel like Madonna and Guy Richie, Isla Fisher and Sacha Baron Cohen, and Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner.
Now after reading some silly points above about Married To A Person Of Different Religion on this blog, would you convert to a different religion for marriage? Go ahead. However, it's not recommended to do so if you are 99 years of age now.
